Anyone who ever thought a rose is just a flower will be thoroughly converted here. Roses are adorable and capricious. During the flowering period, the abundance of colors and variety of varieties act like a floral flash mop. More than 6,500 rose bushes and 200 species thrive in the lovingly and meticulously tended rosarium. When the slumber begins in October, the members of the association "Freunde des Rosengarten e.V." are still busy with the pruning and frost protection. The more than twenty volunteers work in the beds every Tuesday morning from sunrise and willingly provide information about rose care and breeding. Visitor questions are welcome breaks from the stooped posture of gardening.
