Highlight (Segment) • Natural Monument

Very nice section on the course of the Oosbach. The paths are lined with a variety of rare and attractive trees and plants. Less frequented towards Lichtental with various highlights.

Shepherd's Cottage

Highlight • Historical Site

Pretty little half-timbered house with a history in which world-famous celebrities played a role - such histories were common in Baden-Baden, especially in the 19th century.

The gardeners of the city of Baden-Baden put a lot of effort into the design of their flower fields in the meadows of Lichtenthaler Allee

Beautifully designed, covered wooden pavilion with seating near the dahlia garden. It's a great place to take a break.

Palais Biron

Highlight • Historical Site

Very beautiful palace in a picturesque location.

Interesting and very eventful history well documented online: palais-biron.de/das-palais-biron/geschichte-des-kulturdenkmals

Background of the oversized rose sculpture in the park: In 2010, a rose by the French breeder Pierre Orard from Lyon was christened "Palais Biron" as part of the Baden-Baden Rose Days.

The Josefinenbrücke leads over the Oos in front of the Gönneranlage. It was built together with the complex between 1909 and 1912. The bridge is named after Josefine Sielcken, the wife of the founder of the Gönneranlage. Her death in 1907 gave rise to the redesign of the gardens. There are two putti at the head of the bridge. On the right pedestal is the name of the bridge in gold letters: Josefinenbrücke. The inscription on the left pedestal commemorates the founder: Design and decoration of the complex, foundation of Mr. Hermann Sielcken. The name of the bridge can also be read on the side. The entrance to the Gönneranlage is flanked by statues of two deer.

Park view in Baden-Baden

Highlight • Viewpoint

Anyone walking from the city center to Lichtentaler Allee these days will likely pass this tree. I found the colors so beautiful – and those who continue along the avenue will be richly rewarded: autumnal colors in Baden-Baden.

April 29, 2022,Spaziergang und Ausstellung Korallen in Baden-Baden
Short hike/walk in Baden-Baden followed by a visit to the Frieder Burda Museum: value and change in corals.
Exhibition of the crocheted corals until June 26th
It's amazing what about 4000 crocheters have created here.
The pictures speak for themselves, but a visit on site is even nicer.
