Anyone hiking along the Rhin Lakes should definitely take a detour around the Kellenseen. An almost mystical, beautiful place!
The two bodies of water are connected by a belt of reeds and fields of water lilies. Nestled in a large mixed beech forest area, they offer wonderful peace and quiet, not least to anglers. The water is rather cloudy, which is attributed to the extensive carp populations.

I have a few hours in the morning to take a short walk in the surrounding area.
Zermützel seems like an ideal starting point for a walk between several lakes. And I also want to experience a bit of Ruppiner Schweiz.
