Very nice bike tour. First on a well-developed path through the Schaumburg Forest, then mainly on farm roads to Lahde, over the Weser bridge (currently being renovated) to Petershagen, Weser cycle path to the waterway junction in Minden. The crowning finale: a detour to the "Bückeburger Niederung" nature reserve.

I copied another tour by Hans-Werner and it was great. The tour was accompanied by a lot of water and the bright sunshine did the rest. Lahde started at the Bückeburger Aue. At Minden I switched to the Mittelland Canal and at the Wasserstrassenkreuz to the Weser. The way back led me through Petershagen to Lahde.

So, before work starts again tomorrow, I did another nice ride. It was all nice roads, no muck or anything else. The Petershagen Lahde dam is open despite the signs, I didn't know that and took the detour via the L770.
Then I stopped off at the Sweet Virginia ice cream parlor before heading home via the waterway junction.
