September 19, 2023,Von Riedenburg nach Dietfurt und zurück
Our tour today took us to the Altmühltal and the Main-Danube Canal (both are probably true on this section). We chose Riedenburg as our starting point. The destination was Dietfurt. After Haidhof I could have taken pictures after every corner. It is pure nature all the way to Dietfurt. Again and again you pass natural tributaries of the Main-Danube Canal. …

The weather calmed down a bit and we quickly got on our bikes. We started in Riedenburg and drove along the Altmühl to Dietfurt with its pretty old town and the Chinese fountain. After coffee and cake we went back with a detour to Mühlbach with its romantic church and its spring pot of a typical karst spring.

It was a wonderful bike ride in the best weather with my dearest wife.

There is nothing better than these excellent cycle paths. The weather was good and there was a small hand ferry where we crossed a branch of the Altmühl.

Did the second tour today.
First great weather and swimming in the bathing lake St. Aghatha.
Then caught in a thunderstorm.
