This tour goes through the forests on the victory heights around Merten. The forest is mostly intact here, and there were only a few paved sections on the route. This tour is still pleasant to walk even when it is very hot.

The Waldwiesenweg is one of the Sieg adventure trails. The meadows are probably much more beautiful in spring, but the hike was still fun. If you look closely you will discover numerous animals placed there along the way (wolf, stork, butterfly, owl, ...) 😃
