This year's first 'real' hiking tour on GC takes us to Bandama, from there to the Barranco de los Gatos, then on to Atalaya, a former cave and pottery village. Unfortunately we were too late, the museum is probably only open in the morning (10 a.m. to 2 p.m.). Still a nice place and a great hike - just right …

Today we did the beautiful Atalaya circuit. We also visited the ceramics museum where everything is made by hand. The climb from Las Goteres was sweaty but that's how it's supposed to be 😊

Short but worthwhile tour. First it goes down into a green barranco and then (sometimes quite steeply) back up to the mountain village of La Atalaya with beautiful views of the surrounding area. In Atalaya you can also visit a pottery center.
By the way, the Bandama Crater nearby offers another beautiful tour.
