Lagoon Cycle Path between Aquileia and Grado

Beautiful and also the final section of the Alpe-Adria cycle path. The last few kilometers of the tour run right through the Grado lagoon. Here the cyclist can finally breathe the sea air. Today, we just cycled a few kilometres south to the next campsite and beach for Max to have some sand to play in. The ride was very short and pretty, taking us over the thin bit of land through the glittering sea to the side of Gardo, where we stopped for some coffee.

We decided to move to another campsite that is on the outside of the lagoon.. Hard call to make as this place is really relaxing but the lack of beach and the road noise just tipped our hand.
