This is a truly fantastic cycling café. About 30 km east of Girona. Situated in this tiny little village called Bellcaire d'Empordà. To me, it was highly recommended by quite some people via Instagram. Now I know why! The owner Albert is an incredibly nice guy. Very hospitable and the passion he puts in this place can't go unnoticed. Then, imagine this toast I had. Which was stacked with cacao cream, sliced banana, crispy corn, topped with xia seeds and chocolate coated peanuts... It was soooo good! Plus served with really good coffee. This really made my day! So just saying, whenever it happens to you being Girona, make sure you make a stop at this place!
