September 24, 2025,Hike at Cannon River Wilderness Area

Went to feed the mosquitos and see how wet/muddy the trails were. Not to bad, but the mosquitos were thick. Only one wet/muddy place to work around. With all the rain I was expecting trails to be underwater as they have been in the past.

February 12, 2026,Hike around one side of the Cannon Valley Wilderness Area

Great views of the Sandstone Bluffs while the trees are bare. Also nice to hike before this is all under water and mud.
