This viaduct has spanned the Parfond de Gouet valley since 1904. Like many other engineering structures in this region, it was built by Harel de la Noe, the chief engineer of bridges and roads, for the departmental railway network. The Saint-Brieuc to Paimpol line operated until 1956. Today, bicycles have replaced the little train!

Parfond du Gouët Viaduct

Highlight • Bridge

The Parfond du Gouët viaduct or Percée viaduct was built in 1904 by Louis Auguste Harel de La Noë for the Chemins de Fer des Côtes-du-Nord. Located on the edge of the communes of Plérin and Pordic, it allowed the departmental network line to cross the valley of the same name.
Its main characteristics are:
13 braced arches
Total length: 124 m
Height: 34 m
This structure is undoubtedly one of the most remarkable on the network. It still exists. Access was prohibited before 2010, but it was renovated to allow pedestrians and cyclists to circulate. It is part of the 40 km cycle route linking Hillion to Pordic.

A first part with too much tar. The second very playful.
2 small navigation errors in part 2. Follow the signs 😄
