🏞️Lempe, Holzappe, Diemel and Esse, with creek crossings that were all deeper than the last one🤔In the beautiful Holzappetal it was so deep that my feet were wet.🐑🐑and one🐀were also on the way. I avoided the Diemel cycle path and preferred to take hiking path 1 from Wülmersen via the Steig to Trendelburg👍

A very scenic bike tour. We started near Gottsbüren and headed towards Wülmersen on excellent bike paths. If you want, you can take your first break here with coffee and cake at the moated castle. We did this after we had crossed Hesse's oldest railway tunnel (now a cycle and footpath), before Trendelburg.
