I had planned to cycle along the banks of the Rhine on the Rhineland-Palatinate side of the Rhine (Rheinhessen) this morning.

As the main path on this side of the Rhine behind the dyke is rather unspectacular and offers no views, I was interested in the less busy riverside path today.
