A surprisingly beautiful tour. Through agricultural valleys, past goats and sheep, meadows and forests. I thought a farmer's wife would come around the corner with a hay rake. Winter's day in the Fichtelgebirge, or spring in the Main Valley?
Spring won and we tackled the big and small Kordigast. A wonderfully promising hike, even a little scrambling to the summit of the small Kordigast was there. We followed the Schlauwienix-Weg, a beautifully landscaped nature and culture trail starting from Weismain.
