Grave of Frans Gerrit Neef

On October 9, 1944, Franz Gerrit Neef was shot and (temporarily) buried here by the German occupying forces after a questionable trial.

The reserve officer of the Royal Dutch Army and chief of the Ordnance Service (part of the internal forces) in the municipality of Helden, died at the age of 30.
