Pöppelmann Bridge (Grimma)

Highlight • Bridge

If you had to choose between the concrete bridge and the baroque Pöppelmann Bridge, it would be clear.
It's a shame that such architecture no longer exists.
Great bridge with hollows and city views.

A truly beautiful tour. Once you've mastered the only real climb coming from Colditz, the route glides along quite flatly the entire way, dotted with rest areas, viewpoints, and even restaurants. The real highlight is Grimma, which served as the turning point on my tour.

The weather was perfect and together with the other cyclists in our small group and every single highlight along the route, this tour was a wonderful experience. Many thanks to everyone, the organizers and the participants 👍
