Apple Fountain at Leisnig Market Square

Highlight • Monument

In 2020, the well, which was only built in 2012 and cost €150,000, was reconstructed and released again. The apples can be rotated manually and the water flow changes. Sayings adorn the pavement, such as: Forbidden apples are sweet.

March 15, 2024,Runde von Kloster Buch nach Leisnig und zurück
Used the day off and hiked along the Mulde to Leisnig. Best spring weather, beautiful views, blooming larkspur, celandine and wood anemones. We went back along the Wallbach through the Eichgrund. That was just great today.

Today we checked out the Klosterbuchrunde in glorious sunshine.
It went along forest paths, along streets and through the town of Leisnig.
In Leisnig town park I recommend looking at the Zehl monument, which is only 100 m from the hiking trail.

Wonderful tour in beautiful weather - unfortunately the Buch Monastery and Mildenstein Castle were closed.
P.S.: Altitude is again completely wrong, originally approx. 200 m

I've walked another section of the Luther Trail. I'm slowly getting the urge to walk all of these trails. The forests are beautiful for relaxing and exploring.

For today's Döbelner Sachsen threesome, we opted for the Klosterbuch round because it sounded very interesting. With the small entry fee, the perfect signage and two refreshment points including entry to the monastery were included in our round.
Stert was at the market in Leisnig. After the formalities were done, we started walking and followed the little red arrows. Via …

After I decided to go on a leisurely tour in the Ore Mountains yesterday, today I went to the Mulde with my favorite person. The Riedelsteig is on the Freiberger Mulde and the round trip with the Buch monastery and via the forest adventure trail back to Leisnig was a wonderful Sunday excursion. We waited out the rain shower in …
