From this small jetty on the Kleiner Jasmunder Bodden you have a beautiful view over the Bodden. The jetty invites you to take a break and you can also wonderfully watch the sunset from here.

Regardless of whether you want to hike from Lietzow or from the Mukran car park to the flint fields, you cross the tracks of the Lietzow-Binz line using a railway bridge. Look at the photo I took.

August 23, 2024,Feuersteinfelder und Süntelbuchen mit Essen in Lietzow
Today we looked at the flint fields in the Schmale Heide near Neu Mukran. We continued along the Kleiner Jasmunder Boden to the Strandgut Lietzow for a delicious meal and then a short stretch through the beech forest to the "Witches' Forest", a small plantation of Süntel beech trees. After a look over the Großer Jasmunder Boden we went back …

Today's goal was the flint fields on Rügen. From Lietzow we mainly went through beautiful beech and mixed forests with a small detour to the beach in Mukran. 🌊⚓️
Arriving at the flint fields one had the feeling of walking around in a bonsai garden. A variety of conifers and trees, mosses and lichens... just beautiful. 🌲🪨🌳

I found another lost place by chance. That was definitely the highlight 📸

🅿️ Lietzow with day ticket/24 hours

The heather is currently in bloom 💜 and we didn't want to miss out on this splendor of color either.

Our goal today is the flint fields on Rügen with their heathland.

We started our hike in Lietzow towards the flint fields on the right-hand hiking trail along the railway tracks. We saved the …

Beautiful route to the flint fields along the small Jasmunder Bodden.

Started in Lietzow in fog and mystical mist, along the small Jasmund Bodden, the beautiful Semperwald with its old and beautiful dwarf beeches and the old water tower ruins to the flint fields. The way back was very tough, it went over muddy paths back to Lietzow.😳
All in all a beautiful, but also strenuous hike.

Today we went on one of our favorite tours again.
Although we actually just wanted to hike, we couldn't resist the porcini mushrooms and chestnuts along the way😉.
On the way back we crossed the railway embankment illegally, which of course you shouldn't do.🤫 It was just an exception because we didn't have the right shoes for the Modderweg today.😏

Today we started in Lietzow in full fog. Lietzow Castle (copy of Lichtenstein Castle near Reutlingen in the Swabian Alb, completed in 1839) was mystically surrounded by a gray veil. The small Jasmunder Bodden couldn't be seen at all through the fog. We continued through the beautiful Semper Forest with the stunted beeches that are over 80 years old and …
