After our rest day yesterday, we went to Bruneck for a quick shopping trip this morning. Later, we visited the impressive earth pyramids. Repeated erosion and washing away of the side slopes left the clay-rich column structures with the stones resting on them standing. These earth pyramids are constantly changing, with new columns constantly forming, especially in winter and spring.
