The historic town centre with old stone houses from the 14th and 15th centuries and the church of Sant Jordi from the 18th century is grouped around the village square. The village, with around 30 inhabitants, owes its wealth to its agricultural past with olive groves, apple and almond orchards, sheep and goat farming. The terraces laid out on slopes by the Moors dominate the landscape here. The whole village has been a listed building since 2010. Today we drove to the small mountain village "Orient" which is a World Heritage Site.
Our goal on the tour was the "Paso de s'Estaló" and "Es Salt des Freu".
Our tour took us past countless fallen olive trees criss-crossing the path. That was the result of the snowstorms of three weeks ago.
