Nümbrecht Historic Town Centre

Highlight • Settlement

Nümbrecht is not only a climatic health resort but, in my opinion, a particularly idyllic place in the Bergisches Land. Listed half-timbered houses line the main street and invite you to stroll. In addition to several small retailers, Café Ley invites you to enjoy coffee and cake in a classic way. But the pancake house is also rustically furnished and ideal for a refreshment before or after a hike. The "Haus der Kunst" is somewhat hidden at the lower end of the town. A visit is definitely worthwhile, as there are small, fine exhibitions that the Nümbrecht Art Association is committed to.

All around: a quiet and idyllic town that is a good starting point for day hikes.

From the 34 meter high observation tower you can see as far as the Rhine, the Siebengebirge and the Rothaargebirge. The tower is open from March to September 30 from 8am to 10pm and from October to February 28 from 8am to 8pm.

In the adjoining café "Fuchs und Igel" you can stop and let yourself be pampered on Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
