Botanical Garden of the Secondary Agricultural School Tábor

More than 4000 plants are grown in the greenhouses and beds. The garden was created in 1866 and is the second oldest in the Czech Republic. In the years 1900-1918 the agricultural high school had the status of university and the wealth of academic collections remained in the botanical garden. The garden has been selling seeds all over the world since 1906, at which time they are being shipped to four hundred locations in Europe, Asia, America, Africa, Australia, New Zealand and a hundred addresses in the Czech Republic.
