July 28, 2023,🥾Wanderung von Arboretum - Garten der Bäume - Bad Langensalza
First picked up in Mhl am Schwanenteich TS No.48. Then we went to Bad Langensalza, from the large free parking lot in front of the arboretum (which unfortunately was closed today) the city tour went to the Japanese Garden. We weren't in the garden, we already knew it. A nice round along the city wall then in the city center …

Bad Langensalza ❤️😍: This place surprised me in the most pleasant way.
A charming and colorful old town, where numerous restaurants and cafés invite you to stop for a break. And all at surprisingly affordable prices! Homemade ice cream from €1.30 per scoop, cake for under €2!
Every look into the next alley, around the next corner, offers picturesque photo …

No hike today!
Today it's time to enjoy yourself😀!
We stroll through the castle park, the spa gardens, the Japanese Garden, the arboretum, and through the blooming Bad Langensalza.
Simply wonderful!
Here we were able to unwind.

The Rose Garden and the Japanese Garden currently cost €6 each for regular visitors. Bad Langensalza is a lovely little spa town worth visiting from time to time.

Particularly interesting: the city wall with 24 defensive towers and 7 gates; the Gothic-style Market Church; Friederikenschlössschen (little Friederiken Castle) with the Friederiken spring; the Pharmacy Museum; the Japanese Garden; the Arboretum...
It would certainly have been even more beautiful, and we would have stayed there longer, if it hadn't been …

At this time of year, the arboretum in Bad Langensalza is a must every year - everything is colorfully planted. The tulips are still in the starting blocks. The Schlösschenpark is also wonderfully colorful and decorated for Easter. With this wonderful sunshine, it's all a dream!

Short break in Bad Langensalza, 1st day:
After a quiet journey we made a nice city tour.
Many towers in the long city wall, a beautiful castle and a beautiful old town with many half-timbered houses. We are looking forward to the next few days 😆

All city wall towers were photographed and then three rings were shot... ;-)
