I discovered the Erztaler at @AllesinButterAnett last year... It's organized every year by the Tharandter Wald cycling team in various categories.

The off-road tour is quite scenic and varied. I'd do it again on a mountain bike, but not on a gravel bike 🤷🏼

...plus the journey from Tharandt and the journey home
8:50am start in Hartha, 5:15pm after bratwurst and beer we headed home and then got caught in a thunderstorm on the last 4km 🙈
