A very nice hike. The route had to be changed slightly because two paths were impassable: electric fences due to goat pastures. Well, we had to take a few detours 🤷‍♀️
Very idyllic area, could do it again 😅👌

Today we were again in the NSG Nordoe.
The paths are mostly easy to walk on and the weather is so-so at least dry.
We only meet dog owners when they go for a walk. The dune landscape is a nice alternative to other hikes and also offers something for the eye.

Instead of (probably) going to the Lüneburg Heath 🌺 with a horde of people 😵‍💫 on a warm Sunday 🌤, I rummaged in the hiking box 🎁.
The lot 🧾 fell on a previously unknown NSG south of Itzehoe.

A varied tour 🥾 along the closed meadows, through mixed forest and a small but fine heathland.

Sunday stroll through the Nordoe inland dunes 🏜️ - the heath is still in bloom. The area is protected by the Natura 2000 and Natura 2000 Nature Reserves (Norwegian Forest Nature Reserves), with stunning dune landscapes and two so-called Kuhlen (coves) – water-filled hollows created by former sand mining.

A really nice hike in the Ice Age glacial valley of the Elbe.
The lilies of the valley are blooming, the star chickweed is in full bloom. The hawthorn and gorse begin. And already I want to stop May and extend it by at least two weeks because it's so beautiful.
