The Augusta Bender Literary Museum is located on the ground floor of the community center in Oberschefflenz, built in 1847 – formerly a Catholic school, town hall, and land registry office. It invites visitors to rediscover the works of Augusta Bender and, in five stages, tells the story of an extraordinary woman who was ahead of her time.

Augusta Bender was born in Schefflenz in 1846 and died in Mosbach in 1924.
