August 30, 2022,Østerbø Aurlandsvatnet Runde über Bjørnestigen

Norway has given us so many beautiful hikes, but this one was particularly beautiful. In the best weather we hiked down Aurlandsdalen and over Bjønningstien back to the starting point. The tour is very varied, but also demanding. Always well marked. In the end, exhausted but happy and content, we spent the night at østerboe campsite.

Today we went on a dream tour through the beautiful Aurlandsdalen. It had everything... narrow paths, panoramic views, huge rock formations, various flowers along the way, waterfalls, scrambling, deep ravines, and even a suspension bridge. And the weather held and was perfect 🌤 for hiking. 🤩
The start and finish was at the Østerbø campsite.
