I actually prefer longer hikes. But the beauty of the landscape makes up for it. Thousands of primroses are blooming, and viper's bugloss, violets, and bittercress attract just as many bees. The orchards are fragrant. The view stretches out to the western Harz Mountains. Fantastic!
