Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

This is where you switch between the Burke Gilman and Sammamish River trails when cycling though the area. Best in the fall, when leaves are falling and the view opens up. A bit of a tight turn to the West when you want to get on the Burke Gilman trail, so adjust speed accordingly.

Northeast Perkins Way Pedestrian Overpass

Highlight (Segment) • Bridge

This is one heck of a ride downhill from the Interurban trail to the Burke Gilman trail! Especially at the top of the hill, hang on for dear life and lean into the curves. A great shortcut.
Climbing up the hill, on the other hand, is an experience in gear management. Take it slow and steady and try to time your way through the steepest part - the red light at 15th Ave.
