Today we went from Beek-Elsloo to Kateel Elsloo for the first time. Unfortunately the botanical garden was closed. Along the Julianakanaal we went to Kasteel Meerssenhoven. Entry prohibited😔But in Borgharen we were allowed to see the restoration work. On to Maastricht, where there was a refreshment with a view of Sint Servaasbrug. That was about half of our tour. Today we started our tour to Maastricht at the market square in Geulle. We cycled through villages and past castles on good cycle paths into the city. Short break for food at "Friterie Wieck" Then on foot through Maastricht.
Continue by bike out towards "Maas-Vallei" to Geulle on the Maas and the Fits ferry back over to Geulle.
