The inn was a real highlight for me. I can really recommend stopping here at the end of the tour and having something to eat and/or drink. The food was excellent and the service friendly. Open daily from April to October. Mon.–Thurs. 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Fri.–Sat. 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Sun. 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Kitchen opens at 11:30 a.m. When I'm hiking nearby again, I'm looking forward to stopping here again! We met a man whose family was separated by the border for many years; they only saw each other on occasional visits. Bunkers, customs houses and the remains of the Iron Curtain in Čížov are reminders of a bad past. How nice it is that people from both countries can meet again while hiking in the large shared national park.
