The pontoon bridges of the Po Delta are historic structures that connect the various banks of the river and are made using boats tied together. The Boccasette bridge connects the hamlet of Porto Tolle with the locality of Scanarello, Porto Viro, along the Po di Maistra and is one of three surviving pontoon bridges in the area. The Dead Tree Lagoon has a ghostly quality, with the spikes of dead trees emerging from the water. This is a worrying phenomenon of subsidence, a slow process of land subsidence caused by geological factors but also aggravated by the action of Guomo (gas drilling). https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zMGHoV_4Ao8
Unfortunately the fishing valleys are private and armored and this prevents you from making some paths. But the tour is really very nice. If you like birdlife and the Delta environment, this is an unmissable tour
The best thing to do is to use the special towers along the paths that you can only access accompanied by a nature guide. The Po Delta Park protects all its inhabitants and ensures that they are not disturbed thanks to the provision of observation structures and predefined itineraries. Among the most spectacular species you can see are Flamingos, Herons, Terns, Little Terns, Cormorant and many other species.
