Very beautiful the path uphill in the middle of the woods... surprise of the day, a cow had just given birth to a calf. Top
Today we went to the Parco Naturale Regionale Della Lessinia. The journey alone was exciting, as the roads away from the main arteries are sometimes quite narrow. But with consideration it works quite well. The main goal today was the Corno D'Aquilio. Luckily, at 1545m, it is still so flat that lush vegetation sprout all around. But still > 300 above Saxony's highest point. There was a wonderful panorama from the summit cross today. In the Po plain towards Verona, to Lake Garda or back to the Dolomites. A dream. Then we went back around the mountain. Every step a watcher because of roots and rocks. Luckily we were not overtaken by the cloud front that was raining down at a distance. Otherwise it would have been a slippery game in places. All in all, no difficulties; is worth recommending. Have a nice week and best regards Sven. 🧔 PS: Image 35 - camouflage is everything. 😉
Good morning Elena, it was a pleasure seeing you and your family. Always keep a smile on your face. 😃☕🚶
Beautiful panoramic and varied path, little frequented, very steep and exposed at times, and slippery with rain like today. I recommend it, maybe upon arrival on the plateau you can add the climb to the Corno d'Aquilio. On the map there is a kilometer left before the start, due to my forgetfulness, oops!
