This route was planned by komoot.
A ring with a very easy ride (if it weren't for the cold that, in Pineda, was biting, 3 degrees below zero). From Erto you go up the Zemola valley and leave the asphalt road at an altitude of about 1000, to take a steep slope on the left with the appropriate signs for Trui dai Sciarbon The first few meters you can pedal, but then the track becomes steep and you have to push for a few dozen meters. Tiring even with assistance, but you never need to lift the bike. Once the climb is over, the track flattens out and you will follow it for a very long time, with some slight counter slopes but, overall, downhill to the town of Casso. Many exposed sections, some very exposed. Often narrow track, but practically always rideable except for crossing the large scree that can be seen very well from the valley. Here you get off and accompany the vehicle, but without major problems (yes, the scree is very steep, but large and, in my opinion, does not represent a danger even in the event of an accidental fall (obviously, it is not a mattress ...). Once you arrive in Casso, with the last truly beautiful stretch, you cross the town (worth a visit, even if you could avoid it on the asphalt road below). You go to the cemetery, clearly visible from below, and you begin to travel the second "troi" of the day, that of San Antoni. In some respects even more technical than the first, with few exposed points, but with several jumps and a long descent. You will cross the road that goes up to the dam in a couple of places. Very beautiful, always to be taken with due manners ... You then return to Codissago with the last stepped descent (avoidable on asphalt). A track to definitely put in the notebook and repeat. But never on Sundays or on days when it would be legitimate to expect people on foot, because the switches, especially in the exposed sections, they are not always "immediate". PS: compared to the original track, an intelligent variant has been made passable, with the construction of a beautiful and airy wooden walkway, which avoids a rather tiring uphill stretch that requires pushing. This stretch has been practically abandoned in favor of the new track. Well done. And well done also for cleaning the path (as far as possible). There is satisfaction even if, definitely, it is not for everyone (zero vertigo and mastery of the bike on narrow stretches).
