This circular route runs through a varied, gently rolling landscape northwest of Einbeck. Partly along rivers, you cycle from one idyllic village to the next. You start at the Ps. Speicher train station and cycle from there to the banks of the Krummen Wasser, lined with poplars and willows.
In Kuventhal, you admire and cross the imposing Wilhelmsbrücke (Wilhelms Bridge) – both the federal and district roads cross the valley on two levels. At Eimen, you climb a hill before relaxing and cycling down into the Ilmetal River with magnificent views. You pass Juliusmühle and then cycle via Holtensen and Hullersen back to the starting point.

lots of beautiful and really well-preserved half-timbered houses & a fantastic town hall!!!
With well over 200 half-timbered houses, the old town is a real gem in southern Lower Saxony! Especially on the market square, at least one ice cream is an absolute "must" in this beautiful ambience 😉!
But the surrounding area also attracts with great cycle …
