People click from RUOMS! MAGNIFICENT ! Sporty, some difficult sections, beware of the overhangs of the river, to do absolutely !!
Dangerous hike at times because on the side of a cliff with no security. I do not recommend it for families with children and grandparents.
First of all: this route is NOT recommended! Because it was so beautiful this morning, we wanted to do a short evening walk. I got this tour from a blog, "Ardèche with Dog and All." It's also on Komoot. However, the difficulty level was completely wrong; I completely misjudged it. Anyone who wants to do this route (with a dog) should be fit, have a head for heights, and be absolutely sure-footed; some sections were so narrow and exposed that we had to crawl. In Switzerland or Austria, you'd at least have a steel cable to hold on to. Here – nothing. Just rock faces and abysses. The dog should definitely be well-trained, enjoy climbing and be unafraid, and be able to stay calm and behind you on difficult sections. I have to get over all that thrill in the evening first; we're definitely ready for our Alpine vacation this summer 🤣 The scenery is absolutely fantastic.
