Former Railway Line in the Angelbach Valley

Highlight • Cycleway

There was a time when the duck killer drove regularly - and also on time - from Wiesloch to Waldangelloch. Today this is a popular bike path in many places.

St. Anna Chapel

Highlight • Religious Site

Nice little chapel with a nice view. It goes back to the castle chapel of Steinsberg Castle, first mentioned in 1515. If you go to the castle, take a chapel with you.

View of Burg Neidenstein

Highlight • Viewpoint

The castle in Neidenstein stands majestically on the hill above Neidenstein. But since it is privately owned, you can only admire it from a distance.

Good food and Dachsenfranz beer can be enjoyed here. The beer garden is cozy and highly recommended in good weather.

May 30, 2021, Kraichgau-Stromberg: Burgen-Tour

Mega tour through the Kraichgau. It doesn't take long to get up the mountain in some places. Repetition not excluded.

After the horrible weather yesterday, there were a few rays of sunshine today. Typical December route with a high proportion of asphalt. The few sections in the forest were easy to ride. The elevation gain in the Kraichgau is mostly unnoticed. The highlight is Steinsberg Castle with fantastic weather and beautiful views.

That was a wonderful Kraichgau tour today in wonderful weather. I copied the tour from either @kraichgaukompass or @Kurpfalzradler and changed it slightly. The starting point was the parking lot at the multi-purpose hall and fire department in Adersbach. Then via Neckarbischofsheim, Waibstadt, Neidenstein to Zuzenhausen. Coffee break at the Elsenz, then back via Hoffenheim, Eichtersheim, Weiler and Sinsheim-Steinsfurt. Pleasant surprise: The brand new cycle path from Steinsfurt to Adrsbach.

Tour with the “Sunisbikers” around the north of Sinsheim. There were some new routes for me. It was great 🚴🚴🏻‍♀️
