For the hike, provide closed or open shoes with ankle support, exclude open shoes such as flip-flops. Depending on the heat, provide a bottle of water per person because of the risk of dehydration. The walk can be done both in the shade in the forest and on the rocks in the blazing sun with the refraction of heat on the rocks (50/50). The most difficult part is at the end to observe the waterfall, it is the only perilous point of this hike.

A fantastically beautiful hike with a not so easy descent to the waterfall, but it's doable!

Very nice hike. The descent to the foot of the waterfall is challenging and sometimes not without danger. Once at the bottom, however, the waterfall with its 60m height is all the more impressive.

So, I'll get in touch..🥳. Was also ready for the island 🏝 in my 🇫🇷.

A very beautiful hiking trail to the "Piscia di Ghjaddo" waterfall. There's a large parking lot (€5 fee in July 2025) with two bars. The trail is well marked and leads through pine forests and across rocky plains. It's easy to walk. The final section down to the waterfall is very steep, and some of the steps are quite high. You'll definitely need to be sure-footed. The view is definitely worth it.

An extremely popular destination is the Piscia du Gallu, probably the most impressive waterfall in Corsica. Not only is the waterfall worth seeing, but the path through the Ospedale massif is also beautiful and offers many great views. The path is well signposted, pines and holm oaks provide shade and you can swim in the Ruisseau de Palavesani. A little paradise.😊🤩 However, you have to remember: the last few meters to the waterfall are the finest climbing, not well secured throughout. Definitely not suitable for people wearing flip-flops and small children (# 12, 20). Ambulances and helicopters were deployed!😨

An enjoyable walk that is manageable for most people. I arrived at the car park around 9am and there was nothing to pay because the attendant hadn't set up at that time. Starting early in July avoided the crowds and the heat. The last section down to the waterfall needs care and a willingness to almost scramble but again manageable and I saw all ages doing so, just take your time.

The tour is also easy to do with children (ages 5-6). At the end with a bit of climbing down to the waterfall. But if that is too strenuous for you, you can leave it out. Great and varied hiking trail.
