Wildly romantic valleys, wonderful views and small, fine side roads characterize this round. You can satisfy your hunger for sport on a climb up to almost 1,000 meters and after a reward in the form of espresso and ice cream in one of the many villages.

Your tour starts in Himmelreich at the train station. You first get comfortable on the flat bike path until the road slowly warms up your calves for the upcoming climb. You climb on a road with little traffic from the Kussenmühle via serpentines up to St. Märgen. Enjoy the view of the Black Forest, also during a photo break. Once at the top you can treat yourself to an espresso with a magnificent view before you go on the rapid descent.

Shortly before the Hexenlochmühle, you turn onto an idyllic little road that leads you through the deeply cut Wildgutachtal - a real dream route with hardly any traffic. You cycle back to the starting point via the Simonswald valley and along the banks of the rippling Dreisam.

Tip: Pack your bathing suit - you can cool off wonderfully on the Dreisam bathing stairs.
