A beautiful tour through Bielefeld and the beautiful surrounding area
The name derives from the fact that many of the ancient courtyards have angels carved into the archways
Generally speaking, it's a nice route to ride! Lots of greenery, mostly farm tracks, occasionally along the road, but it was always quite short! We just didn't see many of the angels the tour refers to! Well, I'm one myself 😆😉 Maybe we should have looked more closely 😉

Today, we headed into the Bielefeld area with two charming companions. With a few detours and detours, we cycled the Angel Route, named after the old hall houses with carved and painted angel motifs on their gateways. Besides the old farmhouses, there was plenty more to see. At the Meyer zur Müdehorst farm, we enjoyed a delicious homemade cake and a light latte. Back in Bielefeld, we took a stroll through the flea market, and the afternoon was over. Now we're off to a Spanish restaurant for some tapas, and tomorrow, unfortunately, we're heading back to Berlin...
