April 2, 2023, Cañón del río Talegones desde Lumías a Torrevicente

The south of Soria has some very special corners. Very close to Retortillo de Soria there are several limestone canyons. One of them is the Talegones River Canyon. From Lumías, a small town, we begin the journey along a path against the river. In the month of April, many visitors find ourselves in the place, since it is very famous for an area close to the town where environmental conditions make it possible for daffodils to grow in a large area of the canyon meadows. During the tour, the griffon vulture, peregrine falcon and that wise vulture will watch us from the limestone cliffs; the Egyptian vulture The path soon becomes a path, marked with stone milestones and some informative signs. In seven kilometers we arrive at Torrevicente, another beautiful town, where if we find ourselves strong we can reach Retortillo de Soria.
