Ratón Camper
June 22, 2025, Cañón del Río Lobos por el sendero de la Calzada y Valderrueda

The Lobos River Canyon is one of the most beautiful natural areas in Castile and León. The route begins at the Casarejos wastewater treatment plant, following a short stretch of road into the mountains through the Herrera de Soria communal forest. We reach a path and begin to descend through the unpaved bushes of the Calzada valley. We detour slightly to pass by the Valdegalindo barns and the sinkhole. From here, a more marked trail will take us to the area surrounding the hermitage, where we can explore its unique beauty. We continue upriver to reach the Valderrueda detour, along which we travel another six kilometers to reach the starting point.
