Beautiful round, great signage, great views, lots of leisure activities, tour recording including 1 bobsleigh ride on Silbersee!
A nice, comfortable path with some beautiful distant views.
A really beautiful fairytale trail. The length and the altitude were just right for a warm day like today. The fact that the path mostly went between trees or along the edge of the forest was also good in the sunshine. What was really great: you walked most of the time on mowed country lanes and - paths that was great to walk! A really nice way, and I think it's also a nice way to have fun with children!
Despite the rain yesterday, we went for a short ride today. As expected, it was very muddy in places. Still a nice round and my 12th fabulous trail.
In bright sunshine ☀️ and late summer temperatures we were on one of the new fabulous paths today. The starting point was at the hiking car park at Silbersee near Frielendorf. We hiked through varied landscapes over meadow and forest paths. Again and again we found signs with interesting information about the mining that was going on there. Wide views of the surroundings (we were able to discover the Essigberg and the Niedensteiner Kopf, among other things) and a fascinating play of clouds cast a spell over us. For a while we watched the rapid rides on the summer toboggan run before we came to the busy Silbersee. Jette took the opportunity for a swim, while Barney preferred to watch it from the shore. 🐕🐕 Finally, we made a detour to the mouth of the tunnel, the meanwhile closed entrance to the mountain. PS Right at the beginning there was a surprise... we were very happy to meet @sinego 🚶♀️🚶♀️🐕. It was nice to have met you! 😊🙋♀️
... today explored the Schwan am Silbersee circular trail in the Knüll Nature Park. A beautiful and varied hike. Good fitness and good footwear are required...
A nice round on a fabulous trail. At the beginning I would have wished for one or the other bank, but in the second half they were there.
One of the new fable trails in Knüll - quite nice to walk, but not my highlight. I chose this path because of the heat, because it has little altitude and with the prospect of cooling off in the lake afterwards (which I also really enjoyed ☺️). The fable trail is 9.4 kilometers long and the paths are easy to walk on. The short detour to the lake at the end made it a good 10 kilometers. I found the Kellerwald view with the forest sofa the most beautiful.
