The Zirbentrail on the north side of Fiss is the longest singletrack in Serfaus-Fiss-Ladis, stretching 9.1 kilometers. It's based on three former trails (Almtrail, Flüstertrail, and Zirbentrail), cleverly connected and partially redesigned to offer mountain bikers more action and more kilometers of singletrack.
Starting at 2,600 meters, the trail winds its way through breathtaking, high-alpine terrain towards the Fisser Joch, leading to the Heustadldorf – the perfect place for a short break – with smooth switchbacks, flowing curves, and small and large rollers. Here, you can enjoy the sunshine, admire the panorama, and then continue on your way.
In its lower third, the trail finally enters the namesake Swiss stone pine forest. A variety of North Shore elements, rollers, and doubles allow for diverse line choices, ensuring that both beginners and advanced riders will find something to enjoy. There are few limits to creativity here.
In total, the easy (blue) singletrack trail climbs almost 790 meters in altitude on its varied route from the Zwölferkopf to the Almbahn valley station.
