Very nice trek, challenging in the first stretch but then the journey goes quite smoothly.

When does it happen again? Change of plans we go to the Laghi Gemelli Refuge in Val Brembana. The path starts from Carona and needs sure-footedness because it is all rocks and roots up above Lake Marcio. There we enjoy the beautiful panorama of the peaks surrounding the lake and the meadows in bloom. Arriving at the Laghi Gemelli Refuge (better to book) we are greeted with kindness and sympathy, the lunch is excellent and we set off again with a full stomach. The area is characterized by a series of artificial lakes so "tour of the lakes" halfway through the route it starts to rain but luckily we are equipped! The scenery is beautiful even in the rain. Once we get to the car we change and finally have a snack... with Silvia's cake 😋 Have a good excursion!
