Great hike, mint views at the top on a clear day tou can see Mt Snowdon
I have lost count of how many times I've hiked this route before, but I alway enjoy it and see something new along the way.
CAUTION - The route can and does disappear along the way, so take a map/compass, and a substantial amount of common sense as each route detailed in this collection included the diversions I've taken due to local conditions or instances where I simply got lost. --- A splendid hill-walk retracing the route of the famous mass trespass onto Kinder Scout. Heading up William Clough, the Pennine Way is followed along the plateau edge, passing the dramatic Kinder Downfall and visiting Kinder Low before returning by an old pack-horse route. William cough is a steep ascent. There is also a crash site somewhere on Mill Hill close to this route.
