Be careful, access to the bois de flamanville is very difficult because the path is blocked by fallen trees
This morning I woke up quite early and so I decided that today I should go a bit on the GR 223. 😍 I've been looking forward to it for 4 years ☺️. On the drive north, I briefly questioned whether that was such a good idea, it was completely cloudy. The strong wind blew away the clouds and when we arrived at the parking lot, the sun was shining 🫠. It went straight up the narrow path and we had a fantastic view of the wild west coast and the nuclear power plant. The path winds beautifully along the slope. Everything is blooming and the butterflies were fluttering around us 😍. Although the parking lot was well occupied, we didn't meet anyone 🤔. The path is not difficult to walk, only a few rock passages have to be treated with caution. At the end of the path you have a great view of Breval.😍 I missed the turnoff for the Buggel nuff, you have to look very closely. Then we crossed the street and a few meters later I thought that we made the wrong turn again. It wasn't like that, the path was just gone🤨. That's when I remembered the tour 4 years ago, we got lost in the jungle-like forest too 🥴. Regardless, didn't feel like turning around. We got through without a machete, it was exhausting, I was soaked in sweat but it was still nice 😆 Then we finally ended up on a "normal" path. The forest is really magical, wild and original 😍. We took a break at the lake before we visited the castle in Flamanville. That's where I got hit. We hadn't seen that many people in the last 10 days. A tent camp was behind the castle and felt like 100 children sat there and took a break That was too much, we lay down in the shade 😂. No use, they didn't dissolve with pleasure. That's why there are only photos from afar and from the back. Now it wasn't far to the car. It was a wonderful, varied and adventurous tour. Short and sweet, that's it 😁
The path through the forest is partly overgrown and therefore no longer accessible.
