Fantastic tour from the Fischleintal around the Einserkofel. Very strenuous, it's a long steep climb and the way down is not only long, but also very scree and demands all your concentration. There are a lot of people on the road, but not too many. The view of the surrounding mountains is great, of course especially then of the three peaks.
Today we went to the neighboring valley in South Tyrol 🇮🇹 for a great panoramic tour 🗻🗻🗻. We started from the “Fischleintal” car park in Sexten, daily fee €15. We chose the climb via the Zsigmondy hut. At first the path ran in the valley next to the riverbed, then it went steeply uphill along the rock faces. We were really excited when we could see the huge rock formations (Elferturm, La Spada, Zsigmondykopf, Zwölferkofel, etc.). After a short stop at the Zsigmondy hut, we continued on to the Büllelejoch hut. We couldn't get enough of the many huge rock faces and the surrounding mountains. We could even see as far as the Hohe Tauern and the Groß Glockner. 🗻 Simply fantastic!!!🤩👌🏼 And since it was so much fun, we walked further to the Drei Zinnen hut and marveled at the Three Peaks. 🤩🤎 Then it was time to descend. Part of the lower path is currently being renovated, here you are redirected to the gravel field. To our surprise, there were no masses of people; only at the Drei Zinnen hut was there a significant amount. more going on. It was a really great round that we can highly recommend.👌🏼
No Sesto Dolomites without the Three Peaks. We opted for a hiking route against the current, which first leads past three other huts and fabulous mountain panoramas. The 1,180 meters in altitude are distributed fairly well. And then, very suddenly, the three stand in front of you. Wow.
Wonderful, albeit quite long, hike. Simple paths but spectacular views of the Zwölferkogel... and of course the 3 Zinnen. The tour is also known as the 3 hut tour -Zsigmondyhütte-Büllelejochhütte- Drei Zinnen hut
A dream tour par excellence. The ascent was pretty exhausting in the warmth, but the many beautiful impressions make up for every effort.
Great views, but difficult to walk. Gravel and rubble almost the entire way. Very strenuous!
A somewhat challenging route, which however pays off with the beauty and variety of the views. Requires good training. The time indicated is the one calculated by Komoot, in my opinion a bit underestimated.
Completely impressed, but also completely overwhelmed😵💫😁, we are now in the middle of a mountain world of new dimensions. The surroundings are so alien and vast. I'm glad I don't have to plan the tours myself... that would probably be a total disaster🤭... After my little taster round around the village of Moos yesterday, I went high up today. At nine o'clock, "our doorstep bus🚍" took us to Fischleintal, just two stops away. From here, we started together with other crowds of people🙈... oh, you wouldn't believe it... but you probably have to get used to that here. We set off on a comfortable, almost level path into the valley and after just a few steps we reached the Talschlusshütte🏡. From now on, the path became more demanding. It went steeply uphill🥵 to the Zsigmondyhütte🏡. On this section, we could already enjoy a fantastic view🤩 of the Elferkofel and Zwölferkofel🗻. Arriving at the Zsigmondyhütte, there were already tons of people milling around. We didn't suspect yet that it was about to get even worse🤭. Nevertheless, we found two nice free loungers, located a bit on the slope, and took a first break🥪. As soon as we had unwrapped our sandwiches, hungry, cheeky jackdaws🐦⬛ (one took a seat on my shoe😆) and two adorable donkeys🫏 joined us. So we shared... 🤪! One of the donkeys even asked me for a selfie📸, and I granted him that favor too😂. The further path led over rocky terrain, partly slightly ascending, to the Oberbachernjoch. From there, we soon reached the Büllelejochhütte🏡 at 2,528m and the highest point of our tour. Here too, very crowded😬. From the Büllelejoch, the path led northwards over scree. Steep downhill! And then continued relatively level until the world-famous view of the north faces of the Drei Zinnen came into sight. That was an incredibly gigantic sight. Arriving at the Drei Zinnen Hütte🏡 (at 2,438m), we had reached our goal for the day🏁. As did hundreds of other hikers who seemed to be streaming here from all directions🫣... Nevertheless, we enjoyed the magnificent view🤩 of the majestic rock formations and, of course, took some photos for the hiking album📚. The way back led downhill again to the Talschlusshütte and from there back onto the already familiar path to the starting point in Fischleintal and to our doorstep bus🚍. We experienced a great first hiking day in the Dolomites, for which we would like to sincerely thank our dear Komoot friend @Ronny ⛰️😘.
