Today I took the metro to the "Place Charles de Gaulle" (I still knew it as "Place de l'Étoile") and later from there back to the "Porte Maillot" and then to the "Camping de Paris". In between lies an exciting and eventful day with many unforgettable impressions. Paris is ideal for observing our fellow human beings. "Self-expression" seems to be one of the most important virtues 😟 😉. This city is really beautiful and unique - but others probably see it that way too: all languages, all skin colors and cultures come together here. After a few hours among these crowds, I'm looking forward to a quiet, relaxed evening in the RV 🚐 ... PS: The battery was empty at the "Centre Pompidou", so no more photos from then on. There were still some great motifs, but not being able to take photos can also be liberating (at least that's what I tell myself) 😉.
Hi everyone! This weekend I'm visiting some old friends in Paris. As I wanted to walk around Paris a bit first, we agreed to meet at the Pompidou Centre around 4pm. Afterwards we went for a drink in the Marais district and then I drove with them to their house in Montreuil, where I'm spending this weekend. This (Saturday) morning I took the TGV from Aachen to Paris. I arrived around 12pm and then went for a lovely walk along the most beautiful spots in central Paris, all of which are listed in the highlights. Unfortunately my camera is having problems and I couldn't recover my photos and put them in Komoot. I'll try that again later at home in Vaals. Anyway, it was a wonderful walk to soak up the Parisian atmosphere and admire the many sights of Paris. Greetings from Paris! 🚶♂️👍🤗🙋♂️
