Today there was still a lot of water through the valley, but the amount of water of the last two days has unfortunately affected the valley, the path along the river is no longer passable.
After we hiked the Krimml waterfalls last year, this time we decided to do the circular route around the Untersulzbach waterfall. You also have to ignore the winter closure signs on this route if you want to do the tour in the cold months. There was no snow at this altitude this time, but there was a very beautiful path, with several viewing platforms that offer a fantastic view of the intoxicating waterfall. Once at the top there is a beautiful path through a coniferous forest and it became really magical on the bridge over the Untersulzbach. Simply a dream 🤩 After the descent, our feet had a (very) short cool down before we finished the hike and then got back on the toboggan 🛷
